ELECTION

 NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

MONDAY, 21 MAY 2018 at 7.00 p.m.

in STRONSAY COMMUNITY CENTRE

 1 VACANCY

A Public Meeting shall be held at the time and date specified above to fill ONE vacancy on Stronsay Community Council.

All electors entered on the current Register of Electors for the Stronsay area have the right to vote, and are invited to attend the Public Meeting.

Candidates must be entered on the current published Register of Electors for the Stronsay area.  Candidates must either be present at the meeting or, in advance of the meeting, have submitted a written request indicating that they wish to stand for election.  Written requests should be sent to Democratic Services, Orkney Islands Council, at the address below. 

All candidates must be nominated by two electors who are on the current register for Stronsay, and be present at the meeting.

The following persons have already been validly elected to serve on Stronsay Community Council:-

Ian C Cooper, A Cameron Fraser, Paul J Riley,                     James A Seaton, Damian P Stout and Shirley J Whiteman.
