As part of our ongoing expansion we are delighted to begin the recruitment for our new Seawater sites in Stronsay, Orkney. We are looking for a strong team who, with a passion for our sector, will assist with the site implementation and ongoing development of this area.
Alongside the initial start-up, the successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with a variety of different areas within the farming process, such as: feeding, grading, splitting, fish husbandry, harvesting and general site maintenance. For our Manager vacancy, you will report to our Orkney Area Manager and have responsibility for the overall management of our two Stronsay Seawater Sites.
All candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be flexible with working hours. You will need to be a team player but have the ability to work alone when required. You must have at least three years relevant Aquaculture Management experience to be considered for our Site Manager opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL AS FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED:
- Sea survival qualification
- First Aid Certificate
- Loadall/Forklift Licence
- Manual Handling
- Boatmasters or Powerboat Level 2 Certificate
- Full UK driving licence
